Warning: Parental Advisory!

08:29

To everyone who follows my blog every sunday...I am so sorry for the month delay! It has been a crazy month full of non stop work, which has unfortunately forced me to neglect my blogging life! Never the less, I am back in business and here to stay :).

Warning: Parental Advisory

Soooooooo, this week's look has been inspired by a t-shirt that I recently purchased! It caught my eye straight away and I had to buy it, it's so me.

Here is how I would wear the look...enjoy!

Why do I love it?

The shirt has everything I look for when buying a T-shirt. Quirky quote, simple but effective design, baggy fit, lowered bottom half to hide my bum bum! Yes, I said bum bum! It's one of those t-shirts you really feel comfortable but confident in.

Why the rip's?

Just to let you guys know, I actually ripped my jeans myself, but ripped black jeans can be found in nearly every high street store (or you can attempt to do it yourself, like me). Semi tight jeans with rip's adds to the vibe of effortless fashion. Not too polished but also relaxed (if that made sense).

Are they new Timb's, Pri?

For those who don't know what 'Timb's' mean, it's short for Timberlands. If you saw the fashion look I did with the original camel coloured Timb's, you would know how much I love these stylish and massively comfortable shoes. Black fits well with the colour scheme, but if you wanted to, why not go for the camel colour instead? I won't tell if you won't ;).

Dark and dangerous!

If you didn't get what I meant from the title, shame on you! No just kidding, it wasn't very clever. What's dark and dangerous about this look is my lip shade. This burnt shade of purple to me fits well with the colour scheme. Giving it being a street style inspired look, bright colours would throw it off.

Where's my bag?

When I first put this look together, I then realised that a side strap bag wouldn't go. Something like a simple rucksack would do it's justice. You can then have the choice of wearing it over your shoulders...

...or holding it by the top handle for a more girly look.

Cheeky smile for my mum who takes my photo's! Pointing to the t-shirt so she knows that there is explicit content over here :p (yeah, she wasn't impressed LOL).

Well beautiful people, now would be the time where I would sign off saying "enjoy the rest of your day". Lets face it, if you are in London at the moment and having to deal with the random rain moments, then that's not going to happen :(. Never the less, I hope this look or my attempts to be funny made you smile.

Definitely be seeing you next Sunday with a new post!

Always,

Cycle Wear!

03:49

Hey all you healthy people (don't worry if you're not, we will get there together).

It's that time of the month again! I know, that sounds funny, come on ladies, let's be adults here :P.

Here, I have chosen a specific topic which inspired me to create a fashion look that

I hope you all enjoy.

It's the Cycling Women's Tour 2015 this week, where various female cyclists will be cycling from Bury St Edmunds to Hemel Hempstead. That is so crazy! I commend these ladies!

Now, as summer has now blessed London for the passed month, I thought its high time I dusted off my old bike and start riding again. However, I don't always like to wear the typical clothes you expect cyclists to wear. I need something a bit more free and a whole load of me!

So here is an outfit I would where on a nice bike ride through my home town.

Loose, comfortable, but very stylish.

What do you think?

BY THE WAY GUYS, I RIDE ON CYCLE PATHS THAT ARE OFF MAIN ROADS, SO I DON'T NEED TO WEAR A HELMET. ALTHOUGH, I STRONGLY SUGGEST YOU WEAR ONE ON LONG JOURNEYS!

Denim shirts!

This sleeveless denim shirt is great for the sunshine weather we've been having. Cool, loose fitted, its perfect! It's a great shirt for when you feel like wearing a statement necklace, but maybe just not today lol.

'Oh my legging's!'

Black leggings are always my 'go to' leg wear when I'm in a comfy mood, and that exactly what we are going for. Don't get me wrong, wear a pair of shorts to show off those sexy legs if you want ladies, you go girls!

Big hoops and bun's!

I don't think I need to be wearing a whole load of jewellery when I get my 'bike on!' Big hoops are acceptable in my eyes.

Remember that you do tend to break a sweat when riding, even if its not for exercising. Tall, messy bun's keep you feeling cool, and add to the look. No one wants to look overly done up on a bike ride, do they???

Where is my bag?

Side bags or any type of long bags are not 'cycle' appropriate. I feel they never sit properly when you ride, and they end up making their way onto your lap (sooooooo not comfortable). Rucksacks keep you balanced, and if its a big one like mine, you can store everything inside.

Sporty shoes!

Now, when riding a bike, you can't ride in any old shoe. Leave the heels at home ladies, lets not be crazy! I feel that if you find the perfect pair of trainers that work well when excerising but look good too, then I don't see why you can't make them a part of your daily wardrobe. These are super comfy, and I just love the colour!

I'm so naughty, I shouldn't park my backside directly on the cycle path! Don't try this at home people! I'm going to cycle home before anyone catches me.

I hope you guys enjoyed this simple cycle look.

As always, I'll see you next Sunday!

Always,

Pri xxx

Cycle cake!

16:54

Ingredients	Utensils
262grams of Self raising flour	1 x Large bowl
4 x Medium sized eggs	1 x Medium bowl
192grams of sugar	1 x measuring scale
262grams of butter	1 x Wooden spoon
4 x tablespoons of milk (any)	1 x Plastic spatula
1 x medium orange zest	1 x round baking tray (or pizza tray)
300grams of Nutella	1 x Grater
1 x teaspoon of bicarbonate soda	1 x Tablespoon
	1 x Teaspoon
	2 x Bread knives
	1 x small spoon
	1 x small, flat knife
	Baking/parchment paper
	1 x ruler
	1 x pencil
	1 scissors
	1 x Small sieve

Serves: As many as you like!

o Pre heat your oven to 160 degrees Celsius.

Cake batter

To make a great sponge cake, the trick is measuring the eggs first. Whatever the measurement is of the eggs, this will be the same for the flour, butter and sugar.

(I used less sugar than the rest of the ingredients because I am using a sweet chocolate spread in the middle, which will balance the sweetness).

o Measure your eggs and note down the measurement

o Into a large bowl, add your butter and sugar

o Mix together until the mixture becomes a smooth, consistent texture

o Break all four eggs into the same bowl and mix everything together until the mixture becomes smooth

o Measure the flour into a medium sized bowl

o Place the sieve onto the larger bowl and then pour the flour into the sieve

o Lift the sieve directly above the bowl with one hand and begin to hit the edge of the sieve onto the palm of your other hand, gently

o Continue to do this until all the flour has been sieved

o Sieve the bicarbonate soda into the large bowl

o Mix all the components together with the wooden spoon

o Add 4 tablespoons of milk and mix the mixture again until it forms a smooth, loose texture

o Grate the orange zest into the mixture and mix until it has been fully combined

Making the wheel template

o Draw around the tray, which you are going to bake your cake in onto a sheet of baking paper

o Using a tea mug, place it onto the centre of your drawn circle and draw around it. This will be the centre of the wheel

o Draw a line across the large circle to half it

o Do the same the other way so there are now 4 pieces of the circle

o On one piece, divide this into two again

o Inside one of the divided pieces, draw a smaller version of what you see. Cut this out and this will be the template for your wheel cake

Because I am using a pizza dish, I am going to line my tray with baking paper.

o Grab some butter into your hand and then smudge it onto 4 corners of the base of your tray and then four along the rim

o Cut out a sheet of baking paper big enough to cover the whole tray and begin to mold it around your tray

The butter will help secure the paper from moving

o Spoon the cake mixture into the centre of the tray

o Use a plastic spatula to help remove all the mixture

o With the spatula, begin to push the mixture around so that it has covered the whole surface, evenly

Baking

o Place your cake into a pre-heated oven for 30 minutes

o Remove the cake from the oven and remove it gently from the tray (but still covered by the baking paper).

o Place it onto a wire rack to cool for 10 minutes.

Decorating

o Slice the cake in half with a wide knife (I used a bread knife) and then place the top half onto another tray/plate

o Using a spoon, spoon out the Nutella onto the inside of one of the cake slices and with a flat knife, evenly spread it out (leave a 2cm gape from the edge of the cake to where the Nutella is)

o Once the Nutella has been evenly distributed, using two long knives, lift the other half of the cake and place it back onto the Nutella covered piece

o Gently push together with your hand to make sure they are stuck together

Making the wheel

· Grab your paper template and place it onto the cake

· To start off, place the template 2cm from the edge of the cake, grab something small and heavy to weigh it down and then grab your small knife and begin cutting around the shape
