My kind of designs

Mine and Mummy's Timeline!

Its that time of year again where we scramble the shops to find something that is worth all the love this woman given to us throughout our lives(A really tough job).
Mothers day is a day where we should shower our mums with love and appreciation, but to me, its a day where I find myself reflecting on the journey her and I have shared so far, together.

Thats why I thought I would draw this journey in 5 separate stages. We've had way more than that in the 23 years I've graced this earth, but these are what I feel are the most important.

The reason why I drew these characters like stick people is because of something my sister once said. She's not the creative one in the family and she can't draw to save her life! Her idea of art is stick figures. Thats why I thought it would be good to draw 'child like' images to represent the innocence, and also to remind my mum that I am her baby and she SHOULD love any bit of work I've given her over the years.

I hope this gives you a little bit of inspiration as to what to make for your mum that's from the heart, as I feel it is much more meaningful than a bunch of flowers that will die after a couple days (although they do brighten up the house :p ).

Always,
Priii x

Disney Dames.

I, like so many people grew up with these beautiful ladies! They are all known for their drop dead beauty, their fashion sense and glamour, amongst other things, but they also possess different talents/passions, whether its the skill to make tiny clothes for mice friends, or the ability to heal people when you sing(Tangled 2010)! Either way, they all very talented!

Ariel (Little mermaid, 1989) swimming, whilst thinking of safety first.
Cinderella (Cinderella, 1950), sewing clothes for all her friends.
Mulan (Mulan, 1998), squeezing in a session at the gym.
Pocahontas (Pocahontas, 1995), cleaning up the environment, making sure its pollution free.
