Hey beautiful people!

So, to all those who follow me you know that I tend to dedicate one topic to every month on my blog.

This month's topic is dedicated to the women who are participating in the race from Bury St Edmunds all the way to Hemel Hempstead. Now I can't cycle that far, but I'm not too far off LOL!

I have created a sporty yet chic fashion look that works well when I am off on a bike ride.

Let's go Black and White!

Hey there, beautiful! My goodness, has it not been warm these passed couple days? I feel for the business ladies who need to look professional but want to look stylish as the same time.

So this one is for those badass businesswomen and stylish office workers!

I hope you enjoy, here we go!

Why not 'All white'?

An outfit that's all one colour can sometimes look a bit odd. Don't get me wrong, a simple black jumpsuit with gold jewellery is beautiful, but I don't think I can say the same for white! If the trousers were all white, then you could pick any coloured pair of shoes, they would then be the best part of the outfit. For the sake of this outfit, I went for black to match the black stripes.

This wrap/drape styled sleeveless blouse is literally everywhere! So stylish, but to me, a little bit too flashy! Thats why I opted to wearing a crop top underneath, which complements the black parts of the outfit.

Trousers.

Yes, they do look like racing trousers, but I think they are cool enough to be a part of the smart wear section in my closet. The perfect length for showing off my new shoes :).

... the pockets are great, too.

Shoes please.

I have to say, these heels are the most comfortable heels I have ever worn! The thick heel gives more stability and the strap prevents your toes from slipping out the front.
The fact that the clasp of the shoe strap and the one on the clutch bag matches perfectly is just a pure accessory bonus :p .

Where's my bling?

With a simple outfit colour palette, you need to jazz it up with some bling bling. Statement aztec inspired necklaces are a no brainer. Either stick to a gold or silver necklace, but if it so happens to have a colour that matches your outfit in it, buy it ladies!

Tip: If you tie your necklace low enough so that it sits on the top you are wearing, it appears as if the necklace is a part of the top.

Nude and/or gold accessories are what to go for, for this outfit. Try to stick to either gold or silver jewellery, don't mix both.

How's my hair?

Just because it is hot outside doesn't mean we should tie up our hair, right? Braided hairstyles appear on trend and can be categorised as a smart hairstyle. A simple braid along the forehead pulls the hair away from the face and, well, it looks better than just having your hair out, right?

Prom Queen's!

Hey ladies, this one is especially for you! What will you be wearing for Prom this year? Although my prom year's are over (sigh), there's no reason why I cannot play dress up, is there?

Here are the two dresses I think would make you feel fabulous at your prom! These dresses would also be great choices for weddings too!

Take a look.

Laced Maxi dress.

This beautifully long, ruffled, waist covered with sparkles dress makes me feel oh so glamorous! It flows like a dream and highlights all my best curves :P. I would definitely suggest wearing heels as it is very long. Bare in mind that I'm only 5 ft 3 inches :).

The straps may not have the same silver pattern on the back area, but this doesn't take away its appeal, most of the attention is all upfront. The band around the waist could have continued all round, though.

Where is the Bling?

You could go either way when it comes to jewellery with this dress. It being so simple, choker necklaces and dangly earrings would bring a more party vibe to the look. However, one chunky bracelet and simple stud earrings compliment a more simple, sophisticated look.

Shoes please?

My tanned pumps always save me in the nick of time. Perfect match for this dress. You could go for a blue or silver pair, too?

How's my hair?

I had two choices of hair styles for this dress. A very high bun or 1950's curls. The curls won in the end! If you want your hair not covering the straps but want to keep it all out, I suggest pinning one side of the hair back (or even a twist braid) so that one strap is visible :).

Laced Skater dress.

I absolutely fell in love with this sweetheart style skater dress! Beautiful silver embroidery on a black canvas! Another thing that is appealing is the length of the dress. Being below the knee again gives it a sophisticated look, making the wearer appear just that little bit older.

Bling and bags.

Again with this dress, I stuck to simple jewellery. The embroidery is much heavier than the first dress so simple earrings are the way to go.

I didn't want to have a black bag with a black dress! Noooo, thank you! We need some colour! Grab a brightly coloured clutch bag and some matching lippy and see a whole new dimension to this look.

Colours to go for could be burgundy, maroon, nude, or dark purple lipsticks with their matching baggies!

I chose red, well, because its red :P.

Shoes please?

Definitely stick to black shoes. You could go all out and rock up in red heels, but I want the lipstick and handbag to be the main attention.

How my hair?

Again, the 1950's curls won! This look definitely gives me the vintage vibe, and the red lipstick supports it well.

Well ladies, I hope I've inspired you on what to wear for your prom! Knowing Ive helped in the smallest way would really make me a happy bunny.

Camouflage

Hello beautiful people! I am so sorry for not posting for 2 weeks, I have been sick with the flu :(. Never the less, I am all good and blogging again! Ah, how I have missed it.

This weeks look is based on Camouflage!

Now the sun is shining, we are able to take to see nature at its best. Gorgeous shades of green and all sorts of flowers! I thought I would join in with what nature has to offer with my new jumpsuit. Covered from head to toe with different coloured leaves, I did find myself squinting my eyes when editing my pictures because I couldn't tell the difference between the background and me (she laughs).

Any whoooooooo, I hope you enjoy this weeks theme, and what accessories I thought worked well with it.

I love the deep V neck on the front and back, however, I'm not so fond of how loose the legs are. There is no elastic holding the bottoms tight to my leg, they are just too open for me, so I chose to roll them up until they stuck
.

Where's my bag?

I knew my White rucksack would be a perfect match for this. The straps blend into the playsuit, so no distraction there, but what lies behind is a casual student feel.

Let's stick to summer.

When I first wore this outfit, my eyes were drawn to my black and white Van's as the obvious choice for footwear. I later realised that Summery sandals were the best option. Stick to Summery shoes for a Summery outfit (yes, Summery is a word :P ).

Jewellery!

Although the jumpsuit itself is pretty out there, a bit of bling wouldn't hurt. Stick to either gold or silver, but I wouldn't mix the two.

Don't forget a sexy colour for those nails! I opted for a burgundy shade to match my lipstick. Green would be pointless, nude would be unnoticeable, and any other colour would clash. You know I'm right ;P.

Go outside and smell the roses (I'm not sure what flower this is).

The Game changer!

Hello beautiful people! I hope you have been well.

Now let's just jump straight into this week's theme! Even before I could explain, people have been asking me why I called this week's blogpost 'The Game Changer'. The reason behind this is because a bag or a pair of shoes can dramatically change the mood of the outfit.

That's what this week is all about.

The outfit stays the same but whether you choose to wear heels or flats, it changes the vibe, thus making the outfit something that can been worn casually, or even on a night out.

Let's begin.

Heels and side bags

So, if you are wanting an outfit where you can rock up to a bar in, then definitely opt for a sexy pair of black Chelsea boots and a small side or clutch bag. The blazer in this look adds smartness, but the simple t-shirt brings it down a notch, making it a great outfit that can be tweaked. Having everything light in colour makes it so much easier to draw attention towards the darker items (black bag and black shoes) or vice versa.

Small, side bags

You're not going to need a lot of stuff in your bag, so no need to bring a massive one!

This bag is great because it resembles a briefcase, giving the smart edge, but the yellow brings it up to date, and dash of brightness to this simple palette. The gold clasp matches the buckle on the boots, too. Brownie points if you noticed that on the first picture before reading this :p.

Vans and rucksacks

Now, I can't be rocking heels all day long, my poor feet can't handle it! It's a good thing that I'm a sucker for trainers, Vans and Converses. No matter how girly I try to be, I'll always float towards anything flat when I'm shoe shopping. Sue me! (please don't :( ). These black and white Vans go with literally any casual outfit, as long as the bag and hair compliment it.

Psst, don't forget to roll up your jeans, trousers, or leggings when wearing them. I feel that giving a small gap between the shoe and the bottoms drives more attention towards it! Plus, it's hot.

Handy, dandy rucksacks

This bag is a must! If you carry a lot of stuff when you go out, or even books to take to college/university, then don't wait any longer to get a super chic rucksack. Let's take away the typical image of a huge rucksack from our minds and steer towards the "fabulous" looking ones (like seen above).

Curly, curly, curly!

Now, ever since I've cut my hair, I've waited for the best opportunity to showcase it. What's a better time than when its perfectly curled? This look needs some texture, especially since the colour palette is so simple. Bouncy waves give excitement to the look and it's fast becoming my favourite hairstyle.
